    Aah, thanks for this. The third Rasumovsky was the first Beethoven recording I ever bought, back in my punkified youth. That slow movement is astonishing, and it's used beautifully here.
    (The best recording I know of is by the Hungarian Quartet.)

    I've still never seen Une femme mariée. In Prénom Carmen, there's more Beethoven, with a "live" quartet...

  2. That is surprising: of the string quartets, I'd expect punkified youth to go for op.131 or the Grosse Fuge.
